Yeah Armadillo was a pleasant surprise when he was revealed as the BAF for this wave, I knew I instantly had to build him, and for me that says a ton because I try to make sure I only buy whole waves 1-3 times a year for a BAF's sake, Armadillo was one I knew I had to choke up and buy the figures I didn't need to build him so I could safely get him, and he's amazing, only reason why anyone should be on the fence about putting this guy together is because they don't even know who he is, but with even that being a factor this figure looks great, articulates really nicely for a hefty guy and look super accurate for his more recent renditions in the comic, but is classic enough works for any iteration, BAF's like this are why I still love Marvel Legends, because we get cool stuff that really makes you think that Hasbro's crew love the collector, never would I have thought we'd have an Armadillo BAF.
I'm back collecting Marvel Legends! Saw The Armadillo and it looks AMAZING Keep on collecting! Support your local comic shop and when you consider the price of imports, and the fact that Legends do go on sale...
its not that bad , the price

Hasbro has zapped the fun out of collecting Marvel Legends.
Easy choice to stop collecting Marvel Legends and I feel a sense of relief. I'm done collecting Marvel Legends.
More collectors are feeling this level of frustration, and its not surprising because Hasbro's distribution, design choices and pricing caused it. The whole "exclusives" idea has overall been awful. That Target/GI Joe was a nightmare. Walmutt not much better. Yes, it does look like Walgreens is (finally) getting back on track, but I've never understood how that arrangement made sense. Not sure how Hasbro or Walgreens benefited, but for damn sure, the fans didn't.
But more to the point of the review here, we see an EXCELLENT rendition of Armadillo, with fantastic articulation for such a large figure, and is very close to how the comics show him (although I think he should have been the BAF for a Cap wave). He's not hugely popular, I don't think there were that many fans that were demanding him, and he's hardly an upper- tier character from the books, but Legends did him so well, that he really is one of the best BAFs they've ever done.
Now, stack Armadillo up against a much more prominent star, upper tier, massively popular character like the Black Widow, and then look at the figure they did for her. Is this even the same company? Wow. And its so baffling, considering that she should've been a fairly simple figure to get right- certainly not as complicated as the Armadillo. But this is the kind of thing we've been seeing from the line; its just too hit-and-miss, and combine that with the overpricing and the difficulty of even getting these in hand (and that's just the US market. Our friends outside have it even worse) is really spoiling the hobby.
