I actually really like this Legolas Thor, to everyone not interested I can get it, but I think they tooling they did here is pretty impressive for a figure that likely most people are not going to buy (maybe for a BAF part?), but the overall presentation here for this figure is pretty stand out I'd say, The gradient on the cape, the clear effect Hammer, the texture on the suit and armor, and bunch of Birds (ahem, so we can't get a bird with a guy who needs a bird...cough you know who Hasbro), This figure personally looks really good on a shelf, I'm not even a huge fan of this story this look is from, I just think this is a nice looking offering from Hasbro.
I love how Thurisaz (rune) is incorporated into his costume. Thurisaz has to do with the giants, or "Thurs", and represents strength and power. I love seeing it on Thor.
Ill preface my comments by saying I love Thor as a character: both comic and MCU.
this costume sucks.
Not to say the figure hasn't been shown some love, its beautiful. Im referring to the overall design. I do believe Michael Myers from Halloween had the same symbol as the Mark of Thorn that Thor is sporting across his chest. Curious...
When I'm more excited to get the accessories ( the ravens) than the figure there is a problem.
Would rather have gotten Masterson Thor, same as before Thor but with bearded head, and my current list topper: 80s Armored Thor. Somehow, Thor has the (dis)honor of getting most of his recent looks immortalized (this turd, Unworthy, whatever the version was between Heroes Return and the Unworthy look) before the version many of us want.
Cant tell me the tooling for this Mort would have been any more extensive than what a Armored Thor needs.
HOWEVER: keep the Thor universe coming... this corner of the Marvel Universe hasnt been as fruitful as say the usual offenders like Wolverine, Spider-Man, Cap, IM, etc..but maybe spread the love
