These are the two figs I'm thinking about getting from this wave. I wonder if this Cap is a completely new sculpt? Or is it just a new overlay on the 80th/20th any Cap? The image makes it look like a new sculpt because it seems it has a diaphragm cut. But Anthony's Customs recently called out Hasbro for the Iron Man image saying it was photoshopped.

Still hoping it is Cap, but it will probably be Shellhead

they made a point to say it was inspired from the Secret Wars. Never said which Secret Wars though.

So while some of these are good dings against the design, I'll take what I can get
I don't know that this is the only time they'll do this. Its impossible to figure out where these guys heads are at. For example, they're doing yet another ultimate Captain America, when they should have done ultimate Thor. Or how about some other Avenger, like a corrected Vision for example? Or Mantis? Or Quicksilver? Or Yellowjacket? There's just no telling what they'll do, so another swipe at Wonderman down the road wouldn't surprise me.
At the same time....its a closed jacket, so there are bound to be some articulation issues. And, I don't feel its a bad job, but thus far its basically the same buck used for the Red Skull, with a jacket over the torso, and swapped head. Is that really the best they can do for Wonder Man? Doesn't seem that its all it could be, especially considering how long fans have waited for it.

My immediate concern is that he's going to be on the Dormammu/Red Skull mold, judging by the legs and possibly arms they show. The three of them are around the same height so thats good, but Wonder Man should be a bit bulkier. Anyway, we'll see.

plus whenever Marvel teams him up with the Beast its usually for comedic or lighthearted reasons. So again, smiling Wonderman.
but Marvel being Marvel they just had to angst him up so decidedly less smiles.

Yeah, I agree that they missed the mark there too, plus I'm not a fan of the grin; I don't recall WM being much for joking or pornstar grins. Black Widow I'd get for customizing. But...if Ronan is the BAF then this criticism is a moot point. I need that Ronan figure, and that's all there is to it!
