Marked down on Amazon to $17.99. Now's the time to make your Multiple Man.....multiply!
Again, not a bad figure, but a missed opportunity here in not offering a multi (no pun intended) pack option for a characters whose powers are specifically about multiples. No accessories associated with him, fairly straightforward costume....its a no-brainer.
Yeah this figure is pretty alright, I prefer this look for MM over the more modern look (mainly because this is the look for MM I associate him the most with in my Minds eye) that was in the Apocalypse wave, which I was unable to ever get, likely because people bought as many of those as possible, I was hoping we'd see this version eventually so I just waited it out and here it is, happy to have a MM for my collection, but this figure isn't that amazing in hand, it feels somewhat bland, but for what it is I'm content. I sort of feel like I would have likely this figure on the Bucky Cap buck more or even the Retro Spidey buck, the Sunfire mold is just strange in the shoulder area, and heads can look really big on the buck, rarely do I feel like a figure looks excellent on that mold.
Not all that impressed with this Multiple Man. Despite the fact that they actually accurately used the Sunfire mold correctly for once, I guess I'm one of those people that was completely happy with the previous version of MM, mostly because I like the trench coat look, and also because I toured the country looking for as many of the original as I could while carefully trying not to completely wipe out the stock of any store in particular. Ultimately I did break my own etiquette when I came upon a half dozen or so on clearance at JC Penny, of all places, and I did clean them out. I mean, they were on clearance so obviously no one wanted them, right. At least that's what I tell myself. It was for my own collection, not like that scalper who black holed all the exclusive Classic Doc Strange from my local WM. Anyway, I'm not keen about going through this entire ordeal again, though I will probably end up picking up at least 4 or 5 of these eventually, if I see them at the store.
