Marvel Legends Spider-Man: No Way Home Multiverse Edition 3-Pack In-Hand Images

Jay Cochran - June 01, 2023
Shown below via Isaac Wong are in-hand images for the new Marvel Legends Spider-Man: No Way Home Multiverse Edition 3-Pack from Hasbro which here in the US was sold as a Pulse Exclusive.

As we told you the other day this set has already started to see release overseas.

Now while the this set is currently sold out on Pulse, as we have reported before, based on leaked retailer lists, there looks to be another No Way Home Marvel Legends wave of figures coming to regular retail later this year that is said to include all three of these guys, and we hope those versions will actually include unmasked heads which were not included in this 3-pack. Of course Hasbro has not yet confirmed that so until they do we will continue to treat that as rumor.

My fear is that if unmasked heads are included in a NWH wave that they WONT fit the 3 pack bodies.

Much the way IVE HEARD that the He Who Remains head doesn't fit the Quantumania Kang head without some customizing in a baffling choice on Hasbros part. Cany anyone confirm? My Kang has been on order from Amazon for some time and the release date is still months off.

Or just as worse the unmasked heads will be to large for the bodies ala Charlie Cox's Daredevil, Downey's Endgame Tony, and the first Tom Holland Spidey from the Infinity War 2 pack.

I've said it before but it is mind blowing that Hasbro hasn't standardized the way their heads connect to their bodies so any head fits any body.

Yeah, the HWR head pops onto the Kang body but it sits a tad high. Its not as bad as it could be but not great either. The difference I think will be that the single releases will be the same figures from the 3-pack, so the heads should fit the exact same way. It is annoying that not all heads fit every ball peg though, especially those MK 85 ones. Those look great and deserve to be on a casual body but theyre enormous, honestly even on the MK 85 itself. And the most annoying thing to me is how the neck on the Nick Fury body is too short to accommodate most heads. They need to do a wider release of the Logan body, that one actually works great. Also an updated version of that body with a tie.

At the time Hasbro indicated the deco on this set would be a step up, which kinda tells me the rumored NWH for Oct. will be scaled back deco-wise, but likely include unmasked heads

So in a way it would be a truth/half-truth kind of thing. Yes it's true. This is the only way you'll ever get THESE specific figures but we could maybe do them in a different arrangement later on with different paint apps? Sounds like something Hasbro would do. But business is business so I get it. I may not like it. I'll hold out for a more tempting offer. Like i said before I've gone this long without them.

Yeah, for as many people I know that put in this pre-order I know probably 2 that didn't just because of the head sculpt issue. Personally 30 bucks a pop without the head sculpts is a steeper price than I'm willing to pay. I'd say I'm hopeful they'll rerelease these later as singles with the unmasked portraits but I don't think these are going to sell as well as they expect them to and they'll end up trying to tap into our FOMO by telling us this is the only and last way we'll ever get these figures. Well I've gone this long without them so how bad can forever be?

I wonder if they are available again because of people canceling pre-orders(?). I canceled mine, and I've seen quite a few who said they did the same. But that doesn't mean that's the cause. Just speculation.

I preordered the set the first day, but I really assumed they'd include the unmasked heads by the time they were released. Cancelled my PO today. Might still grab one eventually, but $30+ per figure with extremely limited accessories is a kick in the dick.

Man those Tobey and Andrew Spideys look nice.... articulation-wise, proportionally, sculpt, they look nearly perfect imo. Still not sure I'll get this pack though, I'll wait til the single-pack versions that IIRC were in the leaked listings way back, hoping against hope they'll have unmasked heads....
