I've got the first Hasbro ( Walmart Ares wave??) version of this armor, with the funky pipes on the back. I'm not seeing any reason to upgrade from that one to this---and I'm a bit of an Iron Man mark.

this and the reborn suits are not the same suit. This is after they returned from the Reborn universe.

I would have to say, Yes, most collectors would and do indeed want this armor. It represents a distinct period in Iron Man's storyline, and has a specific design that was captured beautifully in this figure. If only they put this much care into the so-called 20th anniversary Legends armor.

Myself, still hoping to see the Heroes Reborn/Prometheum armor, the Ultimates armor, the Mark 42 (black and gold NOW armor), and a true Mark III (first appearance of the red and gold motif that went on to become the Classic Iron Man suit).

Yeah I figured this was important to people, at least a handful, as I said it doesn't do anything to move the needle for me personally, but also I imagine there is a ton of people who just collect Iron Man suits for their Halls of Armor, so anytime they do a new one people are going to swoop it up.

also yes I might be interested to see what Hasbro's team could do with a Promtheum armor, but that was a significantly cool armor and did a ton that other armors didn't , also Ultimate Iron Man is a cool armor, me personally I just want Endo-Sym at this point, if done right that would be a good looking IM I'd buy.

still waiting for a comic Hulkbuster, not sure why that has taken so long.

I'm still waiting for Heroes Reborn and Superior Armours, though Ultimates would be cool as well

This is one I'll be getting since The Heroes Reborn and Heroes Return stories was when I got into reading Iron Man.

I gotta say I care very little for this IM look, I really don't even think Iron Man sells that well anymore to warrant adding a new Iron Man to every single wave as a stuff in figure, this just doesn't do it for me, very happy for everyone who wanted this figure, but I'm getting super fatigued from seeing red/gold Iron Men, but I gotta get over that since it's not changing, but is this something that people really want? we just literally got the etremis armor
