I'm one of those who can't get past those spindly legs; especially since we know hasbo has better options available. I don't know, and likely we'll never know, what prompts them to do so many of their female figures like this, but then do accurate work on Monet St. Croix and Spiral.... Gahhh!
BUT as I've said many times before, they really do good faces for these female figs.
Obviously passing on this set; tad more effort they would've had me. Vaya!
Yes as much as I dislike the Kate Bishop mold, mainly the spindely legs, I can look past this for a comic Sersi, I loved this look for Sersi and I'm just going to be one of those people who is happy we got this figure at all, it's mainly nice, just those legs, Also happy to get this 90's look for Black Knight, as it will serve as my Dane BK as I already have the older Black Knight now as Sir Percy, so I'm happy to have two variations, I'm personally stoked on this 2 pack, glad to get these looks for these characters and a comic Eternal finally, I would like to see them get at more Eternals, which rumour has it Ikaris is coming next year, and it would be fantastic to see them do a Classic Sersi at some point, I won't be a whiner here and just be stoked on this set.
This is the most simplistic a set of figures as they can do. There is literally nothing new here but a head sculpt and the knee pads maybe. I don't know if I've ever seen them before. Hate is a very strong word and I try to use it as little as possible but I can honestly say I am quickly learning to hate that Kate body mold. Why oh why they keep using it especially for these long coveted characters is a mystery for the ages. Also what is the deal with the painted on corset? The Scarlet Witch body model has a corset sculpted onto the torso. Better yet it has thicker legs that they intentionally fixed to make it stand better. And they never use this thing. Whatever happened to that body? Did they misplace the mold? I bought this thing. I don't regret it because I like this version of BK and it is probably the only comic version of Sersi we will ever get but this is another case of some thing that could have been so much more. Oh and I guess the torch sword is also new. Maybe that will lead to a Superpatriot figure one day. I know Hasbro loves any opportunity to throw another 6 foot 4 character on the Sunfire body mold.
