Scale doesn't usually bug me as I invoke the artistic license principle that many artists drew certain characters at various sizes. If a character has EVER been the size of what we get in Legends form then good enough..
Not saying an undersized character always works. The first US Agent was way to small. As was the first Retro Ant-Man. Too small sticks out way more than too big.
Drax is fantastic for me. I feel like Drax was closer to Thor sized as recently as the Infinity Guantlet wasn't he? And he started being portrayed as closer to Hulk sized in the Infinity Watch comic? And also seems his intelligence dropped and he was essentially a big dumb weapon that got pointed at the villain of the month.may have some of these times mixed up.
Anyway, I'm a fan of this classic Drax, suit and scale. As with many, I'd rather have Moondragon in her classic but ill take her anyway I can.
7 years ago I can remeber vocal minority on fwoosh forums eagerly demanding Classic Drax to be Hulk sized, so this scale does work for certain fans, however, I would personally prefer Drax on Omega Red body, but I'm really not that into Drax, Moondragon on other hand is exactly what I care for, however, I would prefer OG look but what we got is the second best look and aside from single jointed elbows this is pretty much perfect figure for Hasbro standards.

this figure seems like it's pretty well scaled, as Drax is bigger then Thanos here which tracks. Maybe Drax could have even been bigger.
anyways love this set, so happy to have it, this is my personal fav Drax, and so happy to have Moondragon even though shes not her classic look, this one I am a fan of too, I'm just stoked they did this set at all.,
I used to put a lot of faith in the official statistics but I've been noticing that both the official site and the independent sites are changing statistics. Whether it be to correlate better with the MCU or with the modern art or even to match the ML I do not know. Two notables are Hulk now being listed at 7-8 feet depending on his anger level and Juggernaut now listed at 6'10 where both of them had been listed at 9 feet forever. Most of the art showed Juggs as big and many times even bigger than Hulk. I mean 6'10 that's shorter than Colossus who is strangely still listed at 7'5 when everyone knows Cain even in his civilian form towers over Colossus. I know he is now unbound to Cyttorak demon but the armor still grants him most of his powers and the art still shows him to be larger than Colossus. Can we just chalk that up to artist interpretation? Again I just don't know.
Now I said all that to say this. You took the words right out of my mouth my friend. Past art does show Drax as Hulk sized and in his Mindless form he's gone toe to toe with him and others. While I would have loved for them to have used the Hulk mold on this one I'm okay with this Good Enough version. Plus the Hulk mold is quickly becoming nauseatingly overused. Mostly for Hulk figures but still. This brings the question where has the Juggernaut mold been? That was a good one but hasn't been used ever since. As far as this mold think this is a magnificent body mold but this does put him at the same size as Puff Adder and Caliban. Both of whom he should be much large than. But it looks good and the face sculpts are spot on and at least they gave us more than one portrait and it resembles Ron Lim and George Perez's iconic art so I'm going to just let it be. You could also say that Moondragon should be on a different body model. Especially with the reemmergence of the Moonstone model but that's not an argument I want to start and at this point I'm just happy it is not on the Kate model. So even though it could have been better I'm putting this one in my collection as a W. Just like you I'm just happy and quite frankly surprised they even made it. And even more surprised and pleased that it shipped so quickly.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

Moondragon looks fantastic. Hopefully she's joined by Phyla sooner rather than later.
Looks great! I'm not sure about Drax's scale either but I do remember that his version 2 self was pretty Hulked up. It's a pity we couldn't get a more classic Moon Dragon, but that face sculpt and paint work is sublime!
