So this set is already in stock in the UK, Dan was showing them off earlier today, could this mean we are actually getting this set shipped out beginning of Sept, that would be a really fast from pre-order to in hand turn around. Excited about that!.

Yes, I would be real glad so see that happen and

Well if Pulse was supposed to be the way, it didn't cut it. They sell out (and don't restock!) just as fast as any others do.It would be great if they used it much better than what they do. Box sets, like for the Invaders or Marvel Monsters, figures like Mephisto, Deadly Nightshade and /or Moondragon in their classic outfits, "evergreen" figures like troop builders, vehicles, etc. These would be perfect for Pulse.
It's even worse when they don't even stock products they are supposed to.

Hasbro Pulse is terrified of having peg-warmers stalled under its own warehouse roof, so they figure a minimum order of a given run so they can make their profit and leave it at that. And yet Haslab makes runs to order, literally ( albeit one-time only) which means they DO have a system in place for made-to-order already. They just don't have confidence of being able to sell-through a second ( or third) run, despite the clamour for more. They think it's always better to leave 'em wanting for more....
On the fence with this one but those head sculpts may end up making me cave in and buy it.

They rarely sell out of something before it goes public wide. And I don't expect this one to either. So all you're basically doing is paying for free shipping. Let me say that again. They get us to PAY for FREE shipping. What I do when ordering through Pulse is go through and get as many must haves as I can just to make the shipping worth it. In this case I'll be sure to buy 2 or 3 sets.
I've noticed recently Pulse has brought back free shipping for orders over $75 for non pulse members.

Then there is the issue of when they eventually do end up selling out on some items they never restock when you can go to BBTS or EE and see them restocking constantly. And then there are the constant confirmations of people actually getting their stuff through those online etailers much faster than from Pulse. And then ultimately it's not like you get any real benefit from being a member when it comes to the real thing Pulse is good for which is the Haslabs. Except for of course shipping. But that is all relative to how much and how often you order throughout the year. And then there's that dreaded possibility that you don't want any particular Haslab. Or that NOBODY wanted that Haslab like the ill-fated Rancor and Engine of Vengeance projects. Then again that's also subjective. I don't collect Transformers. I gave up and swore off Star Wars in it's entirety after Disney screwed it up. And I do love G.I. Joe it is only a strong 3rd place to ML and He-Man and I just didn't see the value in any of there Haslabs. Especially considering Hasbro owns that property and should be able to produce and sell it much cheaper than then do. It's not like there's ever any chance of being locked out of Haslab just because you don't have Plus. They are trying to get that thing funded as quickly as possible. When you're actually finding pre-ordering through Target to be a more pleasant experience there is a major problem. Sure you get the jump on stuff like this but I've never

Source: Dave from Displaying Model Behavior. I'll definitely be buying a couple of those sets, if true. Regardless I still hope to buy up to 4 of these SHIELD/Hydra female agent 2-packs tomorrow.
I still keep hoping that I'll see the Quake/Maria figure on clearance online somewhere for $12 or less but haven't seem them get low enough to justify buying more than the original 2 that I pre-ordered before they came out. The Avengers wave Yelena Black Widow is another one that I'm still hoping to have that happen with yet... I never saw either of those figures in the wild anywhere at all so they certainly never made it to clearance locally, so will have to wait to see if they ever get clearanced out online somewhere. 50% off or better is my line in the sand on that kind of stuff.
Also, not at all trying to derail this post, but staying on the topic of army builders - did anyone ever receive the Tracksuit Mafia figures that pre-ordered them through Target? I know they've long since supposedly come and gone from the stores (something else that I never ever saw), but I've got 3 pre-ordred through Target (across 2 different orders) that still show up with no release date. I pre-ordered them the day that they went up. It seems weird that they never shipped.
A 3 pack would be totally cool. With Sharon on the the typical mold. It's a little overused but it is darn good versus the Kate mold. Then if they could do a new Fury or Fury's on the Vulcan mold and then Dum Dum on the improved Thor sized molds that give us many, many options. Assuming they have swap head sculpts and especially army builder covered faces. That would be just peachy. But as good as that sounds it also sound a little too good to be true. These days it seems like Hasbro is intentionally giving us just a little bit less than they could actually do. Just to be able to milk it out a little more in the future. And on the subject of the Quake figure I was almost certain that after that exceptionally well done figure they would do a Sharon Carter in possibly a white SHIELD uniform with another notable female character. Maybe like Slingshot who actually has similar forearm prosthetics to Quake. They could literally use the same exact figure but cast in white with a few new head portraits. I mean even looking at these head sculpts, one could pass as Sharon Carter and another could pass as Yo-Yo. Maybe that was the plan but they decided they could get a little more bang for the buck if they did this as a 2 pack.
