Hawkeye Marvel Legends Kingpin (Hydra Stomper Build-A-Figure) Video Review And Images

Im not as upset about his size as most people are even if I would have liked to have seen him larger. In the show Kingpin was a head taller than Kate whereas here hes only half a head taller. Yelena is also too tall. She should be a head shorter than Kate. Im basing the scale off Hawkeye and Kate since theyre new molds. But while Id have liked Kingpin to be bigger, the shape of the Happy Hogan mold is perfect for him and it just wouldnt have made sense for Hasbro to make a brand new mold for him that was literally just the Happy Hogan mold upscale by half an inch. This is going to work beautifully in the display, even more so if he goes on a small riser to give the illusion that hes bigger. I think in the show it was a lot of perspective play anyway.

I agree, but now with all the delays I don't know if DD will come when it is supposed to, so a better Kingpin might be far off unfortunately.... I'm glad Yelena looks like a solid figure at least.

Yeah The only thing about this figure that's any good is the Vincent likeness in the face, which isn't even perfect, but it is pretty darn good, the rest of this figure is total dookie, that's it, just look at the source material, and look at this figure, it's not it. it is too bad, I know people have been eagerly anticipating a MCU Kingpin but I don't think most would be pleased with this offering, bad buck used, super undersized, he looks like he has no muscle, woof.

Nothing wrong with resuse but in this case they cheaped out and gave Kingpin old parts that are not appropriate for him...the result is you get Kate Bishop almost as tall as he is. Another reason why scale does matter.
