I think my main problem with this Blade, aside from reuse of Havok's questionable arms, is the headsculpt, it's not bad but when you look closer you might realize how it doesn't properly capture facial expression of the "Vampire growl" there's literally no lines on the forehead even slight ones and it doesn't help that forehead itself seems too long when usually during similar facial expression forehead actually shortens due to face moving up and thus creating forehead wrinkles as you can see in the comic art, it's as if they just copy pasted face expression but didn't account for how it would react with head as a whole.
P.S. I know Greg Land sucks but in this case it's appropriate since Land primarily uses photo references.

I actually like both figures and will figure out a way to use both in my collection. I still also have my old Toy Biz Wesley Snipes version, but he's fully relegated to the storage bin at this point. I passed on the Marvel Select version that came out relatively recently - just wasn't feeling that one at all.
My thoughts exactly my friend. While the older one gets style points and cool hair points this newer one edges it out with functionality and better posture. And the cool vampire grin face sculpt. The first one's Bobby Lashley biceps were a bit much but this one has much improved arms and legs. I like the way they made the sleeves where they look right with or without the coat. Underneath the coat the figure looks just fine on it's own. Hats off to Hasbro on this development. I hadn't tried to take the coat off mine yet but now this is how i plan on displaying him. Gives me hope a somewhat non-anorexic comic version of Nick Fury, Jr. might be just around the corner
