Yeah I'm going to get this, I actually can't imagine even if Hasbro did do this, which will likely be not for some time now, this will be as good, or better.

Totally agree, this is one of the characters that can be out of scale, and I cant see hasbro doing this soon and better (I still have in the front of my shelves the Ultron Select and never cared for Hasbro cheap and small versions)

The ruler of the Negative Zone has unleashed his Annihilation Wave and no force on Earth can stop him! This 1/10 scale, approximately 7" figure of Fantastic Four foe and Guardians of the Galaxy antagonist Annihilus is based on his appearance in classic Marvel Comics. With poseable wings, interchangeable parts and 16 points of articulation, this figure also includes a non-poseable figurine of Annihilus before he was changed by the Cosmic Control Rod! It comes packaged in Select-style blister card packaging, with side-panel artwork for shelf reference. You can pre-order this figure from our sponsors BigBadToyStore.com and Entertainment Earth.

Ugggg! It's things like these that makes it hard for me to keep my refusal to support MS ever again. But on the other hand I look at rubbish like Iceman and it reminds me just exactly why. Worst thing about this is it looks phenomenal and the 2nd worst thing is the B team beats Hasbro to the punch yet again like they did with Titanium Man and Crimson Dynamo. And I'm not sure why but it seems Hasbro tries to put a quite a bit of space between when they release a figure that MS does. Which confuses me because MS seems to have no such similar qualms and even use some suspiciously similar sculpts at times. In the end it means it'll probably be another few years until we see an ML version. Credit where credit is do. When they decide to do amazing they do do it amazingly well. Enjoy MS fans.

I hear you. I see why someone could pass on some of those. I'm not a big Select fan. I've said it before, anyone on the fence about Titanium Man, should get it now. Amazon has it for about $26.00. If Select scale concerns you, have no fear because this one fits perfectly with how its supposed to be portrayed next to your 6" Iron Man. Don't hold out for hasbo to do a BAF; it most likely will not wind up the proper height, and you'd be smokin something if you hope any Deluxe they do would come to $26.00 lol.

I had been patiently waiting for Hasbro to take another stab at everyone's favorite insectoid villain, but this one looks really nice. I prefer the straight up original Kirby version the most, but this will be a nice addition to the collection.

I do hope we get additional heads as well, more "organic" looking head would be pretty good, which would be just a bigger version of that bonus "baby" Annihilus head.

I try to be real choosy with my Selects, but Annihilus is a must-have. I don't care if he's a bit larger than my Legends. The guy's the tyrannical ruler of the Negative Zone, he's allowed to be big and imposing. I don't need my figures to perfectly line up with the official handbook or anything, as long as Wolverine is short and really tall people are tall, I'm good.

I am excited for these man. Easy purchase for all of em, but I will say it looks like they did without any thigh swivel specifically going off went seems to be the final rendition of some of these figures, which sucks alot. Regardless DST heading in a better directions ever since Titanium man.

His head and shoulder armor look too big. Anyway, Im more excited for the small version air high-five to whoever pushed for that.
