Marvel Legends X-Men Lilandra Figure Revealed

Marvel Legends X-Men Lilandra Figure Revealed

Jay Cochran - November 03, 2023
While Hasbro said they were taking a break from Marvel Legends reveals during the month of November, they forgot the one they planned on making this week at the Lucca Comics & Games convention. While the image isn't great we can see a new Marvel Legends X-Men Lilandra was revealed. No word yet on when, where or how it will be made available. Hopefully Hasbro will soon release a better image of it for us to see.

Hello All,

New to the forums but an avid collector for several years now. While I am happy we are getting new character to our shelves, I could see myself passing on Lilandra. The figure itself looks like it will be a good one, but I just don't hold any personal connection to the character. That being said, I am a bit on the fence and things could change, especially if it does come as part of a decent two-pack offering.

Welcome!

I would say this, if the figure, ANY figure, doesn't move you, don't get it. There's no point in wasting money on something that doesn't move you, regardless how many others may like it.

Enjoy the ride!

I'm glad we're finally seeing Lilandra get released after the head tease years ago.I am curious to see what the actual figure will look like. I'll be a little disappointed if this is what the final product looks like: the sculpted line work vs the painted lines looks a bit jarring. In fact, the painted line work looks straight up janky.Still - It's nice to see the Cosmic side of X-Men get a little love recently with the Ch'od wave and now this. Here's hoping Hasbro flesh out the Shi'ar family, Imperial Guard and Starjammers a little more in the coming year.

Im hoping they go deep on the outer space side of the X-Men. DKen. Some Brood. Some Shiar army builders. More Imperial Guard. More Starjammers. Deathbird.

Gonna have to disagree with you there. Spiral's an outstanding figure, can't say enough about her. Nice shade of blue paint for her outfit, multiple working arms, sculpted cuffs and bicep bracelets, sculpted necklace/gorget, spare hands, 4 weapons, utility belt with buckle and pouches, fur boots ...AND she's got leg pockets (Pym, they did you wrong!)...AND they didnt charge "deluxe" pricing. Not a deal killer, but in comparison you can see a few raised lines for Lilandra's armor shouldn't be that hard. Still, she's a figure I'm looking forward to.

Well of course it's possible but I speak facetiously. As I tend to do. It's just an acceptance that has been trained into us about the amount of product and quality of such that we have come to expect and accept. I'm glad you bring up Spiral because that figure and the Blob figure are two of the ones that I often bring up in my FB groups as what Hasbro is capable of. Yet they only do it sporadically. Very sporadically. From my own perception I find that we get best results from Hasbro on two specific occasions. First when they are doing something from the Toybiz days that is generally considered to be passable in todays ML. And most often they are BAFs. Things like Mojo and MODOK and Onslaught and as former BAFs some are now considered PREMIUM and therefore charge a lot more money for so the investment pays off. Second is when Hasbro themselves did a figure in the pre-Infinite days and was actually fairly received at that time and are considered one of their best for the time. I would point to things like Spiral and Hercules the new Iron Man Extremis and Blob. You could really tell on both of them they really wanted to knock them out of the park and put some extra love into them. I know there a lot of factors that go into the decisions when they do these kinds or things but as outsiders we can only speculate but yes it would be great to get that kind of attention to everthing they do. Like they do with MCU product.

Agreedz, would be great to get that rockin hairdo. Though that could be an incentive for a second version later on which Id be down for too, personally.

Nothing I can recall, but I am hoping it will be Logan as we see him in the animated series/Toy Biz OG X Men Wolverine 7th Edition. Brown coat, yellow shirt.

I imagine if they do it, they'll just take this one (Old Man Logan), add a different head, and change colors. Kinda doubt they'd actually give him a collared shirt instead of the henley, but good attention to detail if they did.

Face is beautiful on the new one, but, as others have said, the original looks more like a head in a helmet. This much wider version - even if comic accurate at some point - looks more like a fashion statement than a serviceable helmet someone would actually wear.

The face printing technology has improved so much it makes a huge difference. Especially when you see them beside each other. Iv'e been holding out on getting a purple man for that reason, his head sculpt it seems so dated now.
