Honestly I think fits perfect (again, I dont mind pins), even the metal paint is way cooler!

Yeah, the cord is not there, but whats the point of having the cord if the whole cape is off?

The point is that Hasbro is going to update it again to get collector's to buy it a third time! Can't have it perfect on the first update

I personally don't own the retro version of Vision, and that figure is pretty pricey on the ebay. I preorder this one for that reason. I do currently have a Vision in my display, but it is the one from the Hulkbuster BAF wave. I am definitely looking forward to an upgrade from that one.

I don't think it's really the fact that he's bigger/buffer than the retro version that ppl are happy about. I think it's the fact that he's taller now as most ppl felt that the Sunfire mold was too short for Vision.

For me this is not superior at all to the retro carded figure (I dont have a problem with the pins honestly), Vision is an android he never has been so buff, but even if you wanna say "is an artist interpretation", the cape is off aswell.

But, the retro carded was not everywhere, so I'm sure this is the best second option and will be well received so I can buy in second market the BAF piece.

While I'm glad they finally gave him a larger buck, there are still some issues that keep this from being the best it could be. Clearly I'm biased because I am a HUGE Vision fan.

The cape collar looks a tad off; finally they got the cord on the collar but it doesn't have those grommets. Still its better compared to some of the other versions they've done (but not as dreadful as that one from the Ares wave). Speaking of the Vision from that wave, they did get the eyes right-basically black. The Select got both the collar and the boots (!) right.

Of course the most egregious error here is once again, the belt. I've said it before, they know how to do these larger belts (Night Thrasher, Puma, Baron Zemo, Yondu) so I can't fathom why, especially since they put him on a brand new buck, they didn't do his belt correctly. It just looks awful painted on.

It would have been nice if he came with some effects, like his solar optic beams (Select did the solar gem blast). They got him right up to the finish line, then just fizzled.

I'm happy with my Vintage Vision so I'll be skipping this

Lord_Scareglow - 2023-12-11 @ 4:34 pm

Yeah it looks good, but I for some reason still prefer the Vintage Vision, the metallic paint is really nice on that one, yes this is an update, but I wouldn;t buy this figure if it didn;t come with a BAF part. Ha I actually had a moment here with this review that modern Vision from the 3 pack,I had to double take on...like what is that? I actually totally forgot about that figure, and I own it, wow I'm actually happy my memory was jogged, I also totally forgot about that earlier Scarlet Witch, I own that as well, the best take away from this review was me remembering these figures I own that I forgot about.

Will hopefully be get the whole wave this or early next week. Can't wait.

This is just one of those cases where they upgraded the previous figure with the Vulcan or Vucan 1.2 body model. There are 2 different versions with very slight differences. Whichever one they used it is better than any version done to this point. Love it. Happy to be getting it. Can't wait for mine.

Love that Power Princess as well. It's a little modification on the Angela build that never got as much use as it should have. It looks great. Bigger than most females but not quite as big as She-Hulk. Maybe now we'll get a comic version update of Valkyrie.
