I loved into the spider-verse... that said... I'm worried this may become a "ready player one" situation where the movie becomes a scavenger hunt for easter eggs without a cool story to tell... because as much as the first one has groundbreaking animation the thing that makes it truly outstanding among spider-films is that it's a great story. Taking that away in favor of cameos and easter eggs could feel like a disservice.
That's a load of Spiders and even some cartoon version and Julia Carpenter.
I would love to see Aaron Aikman make a cameo appearance in this movie.

Oh I know... time flies at high speeds.
To quote Dr. Ian Malcolm from Jurassic Park. Wow, that is one big pile of Spiders.

Yeah I keep noticing that as well, no real plot being showcased, not really sure what's going on in this movie other then multiverse antics.
anyways looks awesome, if it's even half as good as the first movie I'll be happy.
from what I hear I guess the villains will be Vulture and Spot, with 2099 kinda being a issue and likely becoming an ally, but the whole Spider-Verse thing is the real villain like Morlun on the hush? he should be.
