That's standard Marvel writing now to be honest. Only comic publisher that seems to like making fans angry and using outrage as a selling point lol

Sadly true

Probably not, though Zeb Wells has been warned not to go to any comic conventions for a while

With all the people commenting on it being fridging, I wonder if this will be the PR nightmare that finally gets rid of Nick "has got to go" Lowe

I like it AndyL! Sounds plausible. And could actually tie up some.loose ends.

I have no doubt they did it to bring her back as a mutant like the show. But here's what I think the grand scheme will be. It will be like a amalgamation of the whole Mutant/Inhumans origin. It will turn out that Mutants are a result of Kree meddling wiht human DNA and many humans have the potential to develop mutant powers but would require an exposure to massive cosmic energy to activate it and also determine what kind of power they develop. In Carol's case she was exposed to the Engine and now she's basically a massive power battery. Kamala was exposed to the bangles made out of unknown material which gave her some Grenn Lantern like powers from an unknown energy. Monica was exposed to Wanda's energy field so now she has energy based powers. And they all depend on an ultimate Kree power source that they all tap into and are all interconnected somehow. I know its a longshot but it's fun to speculate what it might be. Maybe it doesn't pay justice to the actual origin of what Mutants are and why they are but since when has the MCU cared about details?

"The Marvels" comes out this November. It's fairly obvious that they're going to have her resurrection coincide with the movie release. She's also very likely going to be resurrected with the Mutant gene. Probably a new costume, too. Always gotta have that MCU synergy to water down the comics. It's too bad, I would've actually been excited if I thought her death was actually going to stick. I can't stand her character, and with her around, Carol will never take up the old costume/identity ever again, which angers me.

Not oldest, first. He was the first Marvel character and coulda been the first MCU mutant. I woulda liked it.

Where did you hear about the thing where Kamala was supposed to be a mutant but they changed it to drum up interest in Inhumans? An interview with the writer or something? I had never heard that.

Oh no!, well as I said in another thread about current Marvel Comics, yeah no shockers anymore, they just do it, and if you like it or not, whatever yer feelings are they are going to keep on doing stuff like Spider-Baby, and the Death of instert name here, She will just be resurrected and be more powerful likely, anyone who'd think they'd be just getting rid of someone like Kamala would be crazy, it's another story with a sad ending, that will end up in some triumphant conclusion. Didn't like Dr. Strange die last year? and Wolverine was dying constantly (well so many have died on and on)..not surprised by anything, but do you Marvel.

Sure, but for a long time they called him "Marvel's First Mutant". We were sooooo close to him being the first In the MCU as well. That's all. I'm a big Namor fan, and I feel like I've been cheated of so much already. He didn't find Cap. He wasn't in the Invaders. Wasnt one of the first Movies. (Probably wont ever get a solo movie.) These are big things I'll never get to see on screen. So him keeping that first moniker woulda been nice that's all. But back to Kamala.....

Because he is not the first mutant anymore. Apocalypse, Selene, destiny, Mystique, hell wolverine are older then him.
