Oh great, another character who had a show released on Disney+ last year dying. How long will this death last? Is She-Hulk next?

Black Spectre?? Is this the Carson Knowles version that died a while ago?

So it looks like Mackay's run is ending? To be surely followed by a shiny new #1 with a new writer since that's all Mavrel does now. Oh and they'll announce all of this before the story is over removing all tension

No one going to jump on this?

Haha in all seriousness, it shows how predictable and redundant Marvel has become... you just know it won't last, someone new takes the matle, return to status quo....

We called it, but truthfully it was such a low bar that it barely needed mentioning. The sad thing is that you know the staff at Marvel know comic collectors are done with this kind of thing yet they continue to churn it out. Then whine and wonder about why sales are down.

Let's say they actually were going to kill off a character. Is there any real thought as to WHY they're doing that? This is what they need to think about. Why is this one being killed off. Why is this one being brought back?? Why are these two heroes fighting each other, instead of kicking villain tail? Why is there a "romance/hook up" necessary, why reboot this, why take this one's identity, etc. And can there be a storyline where none of these things happen?

Too many of them see an 80 year history as a hurdle, when they should be celebrating it as a SUCCESS.

To be built on.

Not torn down.

People can you wait until the comic is out until you declare him dead? You lot did the same thing for cap during the cold War arc saying Steve was going to die and he didn't.

Just because it says it's the last days of moon Knight doesn't mean Spectors death. He could just be given up the mantle or separating from khonshu.

This October, witness the full scope of Jed MacKay and Allesandro Cappuccios vision for MOON KNIGHT in THE LAST DAYS OF MOON KNIGHT. This epic new three-part storyline kicking off in issue #28 will be the culmination of Moon Knights current era and the beginning of his next chapter.Over the last few years, MacKay and Cappuccio have revitalized the Moon Knight mythology. One of the hottest titles on stands today, Moon Knights current run has blessed the iconic character with new purpose, boldly reinvented his rogues gallery, and introduced fascinating new allies and supporting players. Now, Marc Spectors journey reaches a climactic end. Running from MOON KNIGHT #28-30, The Last Days of Moon Knight will see Moon Knight in a deadly race to intercept the Black Spectre before his apocalyptic schemes bear fruit but the clock is ticking, and a city hangs in the balance. And when the dust settles, a new vengeance will be born."Almost all the pieces are now on the board- on one side, Moon Knight and his allies in the Midnight Mission, and on the other, the Black Spectre, his creatures, and his plan for New York, MacKay explained. We've been building towards this confrontation since #19, and starting with MOON KNIGHT #28, Moon Knight and the Black Spectre go to war. It's not just a question of victory, but survival itself. The Midnight Mission is already cloaked in the black of mourning..."Check out the cover below and stay tuned in the coming weeks for more news about MOON KNIGHT, including exciting variant cover reveals.MOON KNIGHT #28Written by JED MACKAYArt by ALESSANDRO CAPPUCCIOCover by STEPHEN SEGOVIA

I can wait to see how this thing turns out but the thing is just from the title I can already see the next trend developing. The Final Days of (insert character here). You know it's coming. It's the next Death Of.

YAWN. I mean come on, even if they kill him off they're just bringing him back again. This again just says "we're out of ideas and we'll make no effort but can't understand why comic sales are so slow".

Of course, it COULD be some alt story set in a future storyline that doesn't necessarily affect the MK we know...

So... gonna kill Marc off and replace him with someone else, I'm guessing? Everybody loves it when comics do that, right?
