There looks like some "Hugh Jackman" in the face sculpt of the less-hairy Logan head, especially on the 3/4 profile. it's a nice touch to the better-looking head. The bigger thing is the sculpted-on cowboy had which looks FAR better than a separate accessory.
I'm really looking forward to getting the Sabretooth in hand. I know it may be an unoopular opinion but I didn't have too much issue with the previous Sabretooth from Hasbro. I am more than willing to embrace upgrades, however, and anticipate that this will be a worthy one.
This Sabretooth is still great besides issues I have with him, such as oversized head and short upper legs of Omega red buck, this could have been perfect if Hasbro fixed these issues but as it is positives outweigh the negatives. But something tells me I won't be able to get him for retail.
That is one tough Sabretooth.
I still have the old Toybiz one though, so, you know, I'm fine.
Of all these packs, this is my #2, behind Lilandra and Brood Wolverine.
Thanks for the comparative, is just a slight improvement onSabretooth, not worth 50+ bucks because lets be honest, NOBODY needs that Logan. In this case I think it will be still "salable" no like Lilandra and the even worst Wolvebrood, that will go to sales and only then, I will be able to get a decent price Lilandra.
That Logan is not an improvement over the Wife Beater version though the claws look cool but that Sabretooth is a thing of beauty. I'll consider it money well spent but I bet that Sabretooth comes out as a single somewhere in the future. It's just too darn good to not try and make another dollar off it. Maybe even with his bright yellow Tiger Stripe suit.
That Omega Red model is fantastic. It's so good I hope they do a Blockbuster from the Mauraders on it.
Sabretooth looks great, but I have no interest in Logan
The Sabretooth is a real nice looking update, body wise, but the face just bugs me, I also don't like the muted colors as much, I just can't bring myself to get this 2 pack, no interest in Logan, and while Sabretooth is really for the most part cool, I am surprised that I still don't mind the previous figure and don't feel the need to move on from it. I guess if I saw this discounted I might be swayed but at this point it's still a pass for me.
Pleasantly surprised that these pre-orders are coming out pretty close to the given release date. My Angel looks to ship out next Monday, so weeks early not several months. Assuming this will ship soon as well. Hopefully this holds. The last few years of shipping issues, and them giving crazy long pre-order release dates, only to get the item or set like 6 months to a year early. That Gorr figure had a release date of Dec. 2023, and released Dec 22. Happy to see this issue course correct.
And yeah, this looks cool. Excited to get it in a few weeks here!
